Little Joe's Horse

by Donna

(To the tune of "Mary Had A Little Lamb")

Joey has a little horse, little horse, little horse,
Joey has a little horse whose coat is black and white.

His father told him "Hitch 'er tight, hitch 'er tight, hitch 'er tight,"
His father told him "Hitch 'er tight," it was a safety rule.

The horse followed him into school one day, school one day,
    school one day.
The horse followed him into school one day, Joe forgot the safety rule.

It made the children laugh and play, laugh and play, laugh and play.
It made the children laugh and play to see Cochise in school.

Joey had a little horse, little horse, little horse.
Joey had a little horse, he forgot the safety rule.

*****End*****
